A popular feature at Clark-Lindsey Village is back in action, albeit in a modified, socially distanced form.
The retirement and assisted-living community has retooled its monthly food-and-entertainment get-together known as Ethel and Maud’s Table starting in April. The event, as one would expect, is now virtual: Food will be picked up through a curbside service and entertainment will be shown on Clark-Lindsey’s Facebook page.
Ethel and Maud’s Table is a monthly luncheon for ages 55 and up. It was canceled when the coronavirus pandemic struck but will resume April 21. (Ethel and Maud’s Happy Hour, a regular in-person socializing and networking event, will remain on hiatus.) The Table event will allow for curbside pickup from 10-11 a.m. at the Illinois Terminal, with entertainment beginning at noon on Facebook. Cost is $7. Full details are here. Call (217) 239-5201 to RSVP by Friday prior to the luncheon.
The ensuing Ethel and Maud’s events are scheduled for May 19 and June 16.
