Mahomet Public Library
Music returns to the library!
Bring a chair or a blanket and join under the big tent on the library lawn as the Wildwood String Band brings music back to the library after a COVID break!
Wildwood is a string band with influences from bluegrass and contemporary artists. Your toes will tap, your hands will clap, and you might just find yourself dancing to the music!
Part of the Reading Colors Your Worlds summer programming.
Outdoor programs are weather dependent. Because they have a large tent, they can hold programs in light rain, but not heavier rain and wind. If they have to cancel a program, they will post an announcement on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
COVID-19 Policy for Outdoor Events
Masks are not required to take part in outdoor events.
Participants are asked to keep a mask handy and use it when congregating with or visiting with people outside their household.
Remember that although adults may be vaccinated, children still are not. Let’s put a priority on protecting them.
Mask use is still required and will be enforced inside the library building.
